Each artist can send up to (6) six paintings, drawings, printmaking, jewelry and sculpture for consideration. Maximum accepted size is 48 X 48 inches. 

Notification of selection will include the Red Sky Gallery Show Acceptance Form.

What is beauty? A misty mountain trail? A bustling city street? A rusty bicycle leaning
against a brick wall? A bird mid-flight, a shadow on the sidewalk, a splash of unexpected
color? Whatever your answer is, we want to see it.

Schack Art Center is seeking artists to submit 3D artwork for our annual juried Holiday Exhibition. We are looking for pedestal, floor, or case displayable (not wall-hung) works in glass, ceramics, wood, jewelry, or other sculpture, handmade gift items and more, both non-holiday and holiday themed. These 3D works will accompany our featured wall exhibition by Women Painters of Washington.

Spooky Show
Entries Due: Monday, August 31

Bothell Art Walk & Reception: Thursday, October 8, 5–8pm

Artists are encouraged to submit up to five artworks (no size restrictions) reflecting the exhibition theme “The Spooky Show” for consideration. View our Prospectus and Submission Form online.

Showcase 2027

The Showcase 2027 program features local and regional artists in Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water Street, Port Townsend. During the year, the program will gather approximately 36 artists in three cohorts, each of which will show across three separate periods:  January 28 – May 10, May 13 – September 6, and September 9 – January 3, 2028. The application period will close on November 12, 2026. All artists will be notified by December 5, 2026 with an acceptance or denial letter sent to the email associated with their CaFE account.

Showcase  jurors will be judging the quality, professionalism, and sales potential of the work. The selection panel will also look for a cohesive body of work from each artist. Final artist selections will reflect a variety of media, techniques, and styles. The works submitted for review can be examples of former artwork, but must demonstrate the style of work that would be exhibited in Showcase 2027.

In an effort to encourage and promote the sale of art exhibited in the Showcase gallery, the selection panel will pay particular attention to sizing and the retail pricing of artworks, with the goal of selecting artists whose work is generally under the $1,000 retail price point. Small Expressions

Small Expressions is a juried small works exhibit designed to encourage art purchases for the gift-giving season. Small Expressions is open to artists in all media. Selected artworks shall not exceed 16 inches in any direction, including frame and mount. All submitted works must be for sale. A cash prize will be presented for the Jurors’ Choice Award. Artworks will be juried online from submitted images. The exhibit will be held at Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery in downtown Port Townsend from November 19, 2026 through January 4, 2027.

The application deadline for Small Expressions is 9/24/26 at 11:59pm PDT

When work is sold at this exhibit it will be removed immediately and replaced with a new work. Selected artists will have one to three artworks displayed at a time, with a few pieces in backstock ready to replace any artworks that have been sold. The PleinAir Salon is now the Salon Art Prize

A new Call for Art every month; two calls, one for Plein Air paintings, the other for Studio paintings. (There is a discount for entries before the middle of the month.) There are multiple categories to enter for both divisions.
